Only 1 complaint
If I may be indulged 1 minor complaint on this whole transaction it would be that Trader Keith has not seen fit to maintain a viable website. I have been told 2 years running that it is to be up and running "soon".
I found these 2 wonderful items on GunsInternational ;

Very nice accessories, Ed!! My Mauser is lagging behind and we can't have that happen now, can we? I'll take a look at the website for Trader Keith and see if I can pick out some nice accessories for the German gal. The canvas accessories do have certain advantages over leather especially if foul weather is afoot. I'm glad to hear that the two of you are bonding well and, when I first saw that rifle, I'm not at all surprised.

The Caprivi is now Properly Attired
The Caprivi has proven to be a worthy companion. We are bonding well. It was due time that it was attired in a manner fitting to its self evident class and dignity. The Sling is a classic/modern remake of the wonderful Canvas slings of yesteryear available from Hunter and Shaw of Nairobi. The wonderful 20 round Culling belt is of the same construction but following the design famous from the days when Rhodesia was imploding into modern day Zimbabwae. A staggering amount of large game culling was taking place then and this was the favored belt of those hardened professionals. In later years as the Bush War raged on it was not uncommon to see these filled with 7.62mm.
These where from the small but wonderful supplier, Trader Keith. Just great stuff.
The sling is fitted with a pair of 1960's Jeager QD swivels that I have been hoareding for just such an ocassion.

Re: My Latest .375
You can't ask for anything more than that A .375 that prints a couple of different 300 grain loads to the same point is the legend that the .375 H&H is made of. I hope mine does the same with the 300 grain TSX and the 300 grain Nosler. It'll be sighted in for a 200 yard zero.

Re: My Latest .375
The Caprivi has started to digest handloads, all is well so far. My go to load of 70gr of RL-15 with any 300 seems to be doing well. I have a bunch of 270's I will load for practice as well. I also have 350gr Woodleigh solids and softs to try. I also have some 300gr Hornady DGS and DGX factory loads coming that I will try.
In the end I am hoping for a load w/ 300tsx-70gr RL-15 for a any and all load and a load using the woodlieghs for a for real Buff/Elephant thumper.

I tried that route and they aren't selling any, as they can't keep up with production. Maybe down the road.

That' a great looking rifle, Ed....most definitely! Have you thought about simply buying a Montana stock from Kimber that you can switch to when needed? The money you save can buy another double gun for you!

Re: My Latest .375
I have stated that this may well be my last 375. It is that good, no doubt. Just truly a wonderful American made, mass produced rifle. Well just got word that the asteemed company of Kimber is moving forward with there 8400 line and are indeed going to produce, well already have started producing the long awaited dishwasher safe .375. Named after a fabled river system in Alaska, The Talkeetna, is now available. Well available on huge back order. It will have a MSRP of $2018.00. As a stable mate to the caprivi this will be the Last 375 I buy.

Agreed, A Mauser 03, Caprivi and a 378 DGR Lazer will make quite a Trio.
